I have decided to sell the Galant it currently has 133,561 miles on it. It has not seen salt since I owned it. I wanted to redo a few of the SS fuel line fittings at the fuel cell prior to selling it and did not get around to it until this past week. I have another project 89 colt 1.5 to 4g63 conversion and a family that keeps me busy so the Galant has to go as I do not drive it much at all.
Here is the link to its previous For Sale posting.
32/1000

A portion of the earlier For Sale listing:

"Went 11.79@~116 last year
I've daily driven the car as is with no problems, it's probably not for everyone though.
It doesn't have an isc so the idle is a bit sporadic.

stock bottom end, 90k mile donor car
rebuilt head
HKS 272/272 cams
turbonetics t3 exhaust mani
turbonetics t3/t4 60-1 t04e compressor housing
tial 38mm wastegate to atmosphere
full 3" exhaust with borla muffler
large spearco fmic
2.5" ic piping
crushed 1g bov, currently vented to atmosphere
15 gallon aluminum fuel cell
aeromotive A1000 fuel pump
fic 950cc injectors
safc 2
chipped eprom ecu
2g mas
fidanza aluminum flywheel
act 2600 pressure plate
act sprung 6 puck disc
kyb gr2 front struts agx rears
coil over sleeves
autometer sport comp gauges-boost,pyrometer(not hooked up),oil pressure,volts
battery is relocated to the trunk w/ kill switch as required by NHRA "

I have fixed the idle issue by installing a good ISC, replacing the FIAV gasket, and installing a FIAV plate.
I also bought a Keydiver/DSMChips eprom and it is in the car now. I also had a Magnaflow 14”x5” round stainless resonator installed at a local speed shop to help reduce the noise level. There is a good sized oil cooler installed that was not mentioned in the first listing, a lot of good parts were used by the PO to put this car together and it runs very well.

There is an after market radiator fan mounted on the passenger side. I have a Mitsubishi 180* T-stat in the car and with the AFCO radiator I have never seen it go beyond halfway.

The body on the car is rust free and the under body is in good shape as well. The car overall should get a 7.5 out of 10

The car does have minor hail damage mainly on the roof, a cracked windshield that does not affect vision. Only the RR door's lower cladding has some paint flaking
There is a paint blemish on the trunk - see picture, and a minor crack in the front bumper – see picture. The car arrived in my driveway in that condition, I paid to have it trailered to Wi. I am selling it for less than what I paid for these reasons.

$4900 or best reasonable offer

Great car! I rode in this thing many times when the previous owner had it.

Glad to see it's still well cared for.

I'm interested. If the car is daily driver worthy, it should make it down to San Antonio, no?

Would you be interested in a trade for an 01 Aprilia RSV Mille? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Unless he added AC, it did not have AC, the large oil cooler and the radiator sit where the EC condensor used to be.

In terms of daily driver, the previous owner used to daily drive it, but that's all going to depend on what you expect from a daily driver. it's a turn key 11 second car and there's some sh*t that comes along with it, stiffer suspension, stiff clutch, large cams add to a lumpy idle, piggy back tuning on large injectors add to some up and down idle.

I'll let the owner reply for himself, but that's my view on the car.

Thanks for the reply! As far as it being a daily driver, I'm not worried. I've had multiple DSM's with solid/urethane engine mounts, ACT 3100 and lumpy cams, so it's np for me. For the tune I'd be switching over to the EVO ecu.

I thought I saw an AC line by the power steering line but couldn't be sure since I saw no cap on the line where it should be. Plus that huge oil cooler made me doubtful. I have a couple spares that i could use if need be. Since I will be in San Antonio, AC will be a must.

The car does not have AC.
It is not a daily driver for many people and and not a first Mitsubishi for most people either.
I have not used it as a 'daily driver' but have taken it to work 70mi round trip with no issues.

The car does have a 4-bolt rear ' B1H ' on the pumpkin
and it has had the 5-lug swap done to it as can be seen in the pictures above.
The PO used a DSM harness and the ECU is mounted behind the glove box.

A few people have asked about long distance driving and I do not think there is a problem with that. I did read online that with a fuel cell and an external fuel pump such as this car has, it is recommended to not let the fuel go much below halfway while traveling long distances.

Definitely not my first Mitsu /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif...I had two GSX's and one donor car in Denver and an EVO IV over here in Japan.

Looking forward to getting back into one of my favorite older cars.
