Ok G know its sold but I already bought one of these years ago but kind of puzzled. Its got extra mounts for door bars for the front seats but then it has an extra mount on one of the rear bars that terminate in the trunk. scratch head.....

Now since people are wondering why I bought a bolt in. They make hella good patterns for a weld in cage. I could have just built my own but days I'm saving is worth buying a bolt in I can always sell later on.

Yeah it does filled with ball bearings. That way when the carbon fiber tubing snaps and shrapnels off and misses you, the ball bearings will finish the job.

I actually thought of this but seeing how 4130 chrome moly is now like 8 dollars a foot I really don't see many wanting to spend epic money on a cage. Just the 4130 for a real cage could run over 800 then the dimple die plates, floor plates, gussets etc etc could be over a grand before you count in the welding gas, tig rod, electricity and shipping

Yea, no. Don't do it. There are not enough dedicated race cars on here to justify all that work. Plus you got shipping, and all that hassle. Save the group buys for hoods, trunks, and shift knobs...
