wtf this part????

so long story short im leakin boost like nobodys buisness thought it was egr and come to find out its some kinda odd contraption drivers side of intake mani the top looks like an egr but its got some kinda float rod attached to the manifold wtf is this how to remove or wat should i do about this problem im to the point were im bout to just buy a new mani if i do wats the best vac routing setup???? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif
 

yes i am running a cyclone mani however my buddies egr on his cyclone looks totaly different il try to get pics up tonight but im mainly interested in removal???? but the float arm seems to be attached to the manifold

That "float arm" is the actuator arm for the cyclone. If it's leaking from the actuator the diaphragm may be bad. Cyclone manifolds do not have EGR valves.
 

yea that sounds right lol can i replace the diaphram or just put a new man on it money is no issue for me at the moment wats the better bet at attacking this issue??? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
