I'm reinstalled my wiring harness, and there is this connector next to the knock sensor behind the intake manifold. Does anybody know what it's for? The gray connector is the knock sensor, and I don't know what the black one is for.

Hmm.. i don't recognize that one.

Maybe it's a CA emissions car, and it's for the EGT sensor?

Almost sure it's CC, will check at lunch to confirm.

It's not Cruise Control.

These cars came with a stock with a EGT sensor?

Confirmed, it's the EGT temp probe connector ( good call MT ).

IIRC all Galant's have them, only the CA spec ECU monitors it. R130 or R129 on the motherboard triggers the function.

I have more unknown plug, the set run along the passenger side's frame rail.

Red - Is this the BCS plug? It plug has the longest pigtail
Orange - It this the FPS?
Green- I have no clue, do you?

Here is a side pic of the green plug

And here is the last of the unknown plugs, It's on the same part of the hardness for the alternator plug. I'm missing the connector for the power steering, but why change the butt connector to this connector?

Yes, red is BCS.

Orange/Green, one is FPS bypass and other is EVAP/Charcoal canister solenoid ( not sure which is which, wire colors will tell ).

Yellow should be low oil pressure switch on OFH. Single tab coming off sensor, gets broken all the time.

The orange one has to be FPS, the green plug will not fit the FPS.

And thanks for reminding me about the oil pressure low light.
