Currently doing a motor rebuild and since I have everything out I might as well fix my trans problems. I have low clutch engagement and a grinding second gear. I want to buy a rebuild kit and install it myself to keep cost down. So does anyone know of a reasonable priced kit that will come with all necessary pieces and parts? I also want to add a taller 5th gear so I will be ordering a evo3 5th that from Jacks transmission.

You can order the clusters from Jack as well and he should be able to answer any question you could have. I would go that route, since you know you are getting the right parts and any questions you may have will come straight from the guy you purchased the parts from.

I buy all my parts from jacks. they ship fast and have quality parts and i think decent prices. some places are cheaper but they dont always have what they say in stock and then it take two weeks just to get some bearings. jacks also sells Diaqueen fluid by the ounce.
