Tranny code question

that axle cup is just a bit longer. it needs it so the c-clip on the splines can engage in the diff, check your axle and see if itll just pop out. but, mine isnt a clutch type. what came factory? ive heard viscous and torsen types came in them

also, i need to add to this as well. i now know the information given to me about my tranny, which ends in WQEK, was wrong, and it is also a close ratio, 3.909 final drive gear box. according to shep, the shift forks are stronger, as well as some other minor differences. this box can never be converted to a dual syncro first, due to a wider first gear(physical width inside the tranny)? this box also has a viscous front lsd. norco found info on the tranny as well, it is from the latest production run of evo/rs galants.

I know i'm grave digging on my first post but I have the answer. I also have a W5M312VPXZ, and after searching the archives here in GVR4.org , I found a Russian website with tranny codes and corresponding chassis codes: Russian Site Translated. N43W is the chassis code that matched W5M312VPXZ, which is a JDM Mitsubishi Chariot GT, basically a sporty, turbocharged, 227hp Expo.
Here's the only english specs I could find on the car: http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/16383/
Still, no gear ratios.

I've gotta JDM-Switchable Transmission too. Any Idea on the CAPS specifications?

Stealling this from someone else, then from another more so for JDM stuff...

Adding this for archive purpose. I pulled this from another thread on this board. It was a link to a NZ board.
