Torquing poly bushings

Hey all, I'm currently rebuilding my rear subframe with all new polyurethane bushings. Question is, do you guys torque to factory spec? Or, under toque because of the "softness" of the bushing?

Thanks

For those mounting to the body, if they have an inner metal sleeve, the same value should be good. For any in control arm locations where there is movement, make sure to torque when loaded to avoid bushing bind. Again, if they have sleeves, should be good with stock values.

(I don't know that they are really softer. Durometer of the poly is actual probably higher than stock rubber).

Thanks for the reply /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Makes total sense. I've read about the binding. I'll be sure to torque THOSE ones once the car is settled

Cheers, from across the pond /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
