I will be arriving in Staunton, VA on Fri April 22nd to pick up the car. I'm taking the Amtrak Cardinal service from Chicago through the mountains. I've always wanted to take a train ride a long distance overnight with a private room and this was the PERFECT opportunity as it is the only transportation that comes even close to Harrisonburg, Va.
My plans are to get it back to Chicago and use it as my daily driver. I'll get the PDR guy out and have him touch up chips, remove some dents, clay bar, wax, detail, and make it look much better. I will go through the mechanical parts and make sure it's running tip top. I probably won't mod it too much further, just a nice 300+ hp will suit me just fine. Don't expect anything crazy like 1608/2000 turned into. Speaking of 1608, I can't find ANY posts or pictures of that car anywhere. If someone digs anything up, can they post some links for me? I miss her!
