S256 O2 Housing

I just purchased a Borg Warner S256NET. It has a mitsu turbine housing without a divider between the turbine outlet and the (internal) wastegate outlet. Similar to this but opened up mayabe a little more. What 02 housing should I run with it? I hate the idea of the exhaust flow running smack dab into the divider of a standard O2 housing... I thought about knife edging an EVO III O2 housing... Would that create a corrosion problem?

Knife-edging the E3 housing shouldn't affect much corrosion. I don't think they are coated on the inside anyway. I think I used to remember an o2 that was also open, but I did a quick Google search, and couldn't find it, sorry.

I wasn't too worried about the coating. My main concern is thinning a surface that hot exhaust gases travel across. I seem to recall an O2 housing that was open all the way too... but maybe I'm just thinking of the 5 bolt O2 housing.

Well.. after days of search I just came up with this (and put it on order):

click

It's a little late but does anyone on here have any experience with them?

I'm not sure if that's what I had pictured in my head, but it looks like it will flow well! Never heard of the brand, but it's cast, so it should hold up pretty well. Seems to be dense like the FP manifolds.

Well, if you're concerned about a knife edge (which IMO shouldn't worry too much), then put a radius at the end.

When that arrives, could you post up some larger pictures and tell us if that will work with the stock lower heat shields.

Paul.

Yep. Cast stainless... line-up is garbage though. Just test fit it and it's going to take me a day to port match it...

Will the heat shields work with it? Are those bosses to allow you to drill and tap for mounting or only for sensors?

The boss at the bottom flange looks like it's in the right place for the stock heat shield.

Port matching won't be too bad, it's less than 1/4" it appears.
