Really been doing some serious work on the car lately trying to get it ready for fall track day fun. I was in the fuel area and noticed a bit of rust...so of course I dropped the tank. Rust city in here. It looks mostly surface and there are no leaks. Just wondering the best way to go about cleaning her up. I'm thinking media blaster and then a good prime + paint. I love those little extra projects.

A wire wheel, sand paper, and some simple green is all you really need.

This was mine...

Damn, came out pretty clean. I've also have to clean the crap out of the interior also. Sat for about 3 years without running.
