Rubber Floor Mats

I was wondering if anyone here uses rubber floor mats. I am not a fan of big heavy floor mats as I believe that every pound in the car counts but at the same time I am tired of my carpet mats picking up dirt since I live in a rural area and seldom have time to keep the G clean.

Thoughts?

I use some heavy duty ones from Sears. I had to cut some of the edges a bit to make them fit around the trunk/gas release, but they definitely keep the crud off the carpet. If I'm going to the track, I pull them and put the junky carpet ones that were in the car when I bought it back in.

I think it's worth having them.

 

Thanks Scott, mine just hold all kinds of brush and crud in them. Sounds like I need to make a change.
