17x8 offset is 35 with 245 tire.

they clear, but I'm running a pretty healthy dose of negative camber

Nice hood. I think I might have the same one /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
17x8 Rota Boost 48mm offset. Did it the hard way though, they were out of the 35mm offset and it was my last week working for DTC so I ordered the Subie offset and then bought 10mm spacers for the front, 15mm spacers for the rear with longer studs. The stagger is flawless with 245/40/17 Yokohama S-drive. Yoks run wide for some reason /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

These are my "dress shoes" 18x8 Volk CE28s 38mm offset with 235/40/18 Falken RT-615

I'm looking for pics of tires on a 16x7. I just bought a set of rims and the offset is 40. So I'd like to get an idea of what size tire I should buy.

I would recomend a 225/50/16 on that 7" wide wheel, if its lowered, 225/45/16 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It's lowered a little bit. I was going to do a 215/50/16?

These are 16x8 +44 Offset and 235/45/16 tires. I think it needs a 50 series though.

I am going to test fit a set of 17x8/8.5 +37 wheels next week. No tires though, so I will have to use the jack to move the wheel up to the right height. I will be running the 8.5's in the rear and am thinking I will have to modify the control arm a bit, yeah?

I will probably run 235/40 or 245/40's all around so I don't mess up the center diff because of different rolling diameters. The extra 1/2" of wheel width in the rear should give me a bit more oversteer too =)

You might have to massage the arm a tiny bit, but not too much. Mine are at a +48 and I had to take out the entire lip of the arm and then throw in a 5mm spacer.

Thats not going to work so well. Although they are both a 40 series, the rolling diameter will be different.

I meant either 235/40's at all 4 corners or 245/40's at all 4 corners, not different widths front and back.
