I was wondering, has anyone ever had this problem? I pulled my ISC because no matter what I did in AEM, the idle didn't move. I installed an old tan top ISC I had in the garage and it fired up and idle was adjusting like it should.

I tested all the coils and they came back 40ohm (like this should).

Anyone ever have this problem? I haven't decided what I will do yet. I might either find a cheap black one to replace the tan one that is in there or go full aftermarket one time with a FFIM and throttle body setup.

I have an AEM EMS so I am not sure. I know that they are designed to with stand heat better. Right now my ISC looks perfect after taking apart....might have just been clogged.

bartlesville, ok
they were designed to do that from the box. If you search around, you will find threads that explain why. I actually threw a good ISC away, because i thought it was blown. But i think anything under 44 ohms, is perfectly fine.

Yeah mine is still not working. Looks like it is a tuning issue or something because I applied 6V and it works. Rather than wasting more time on this issue, I am just going with a SMIM and a nice throttle body and deleting all that jazz.
