Any tips for getting this out? I can't get the 6 clips on the bottom to come out(or maybe I'm just not patient enough. I don't have one of those cool sideways ratcheting screwdrivers..yet)

Once I get this thing pulled off, cut up, and put back on the car she can finally come out of storage!

6 clips on the underside of the middle slats. They have a phillips head screw that drives down the middle and expands the clip to secure it. They connect directly to the crash bar.

tiny flat head screwdriver, push it under the screw, then lightly without pressure unscrew the screw. its easy to f*** up the screw head, then you're in trouble and better off breaking them out.

Are you trying to do this with the bumper and crash beam on the car? It's alot easier if you remove it as one piece, then seperate the two off the car. To get "clips" off, try using a stubby philips head screw driver. I used one that's about 1.5"-2" long

No, it was off the car. I went and got an offset screwdriver...damn thing was STILL to tall. so I just busted them off with a chisel (aka large flat head screwdriver). Not like I'll be reusing them, and I'm not really concerned about the paint. It's already fairly beat.
