Just wonderin if it has ever been done that a galant gs has been converted a vr4. Whats the main difference b/w the two cars? The galant is a 1990.

If you mean a plain-Jane front drive, Yea, good luck with that. Cost less & way less frustration to just find a real vr4 or it's rarer brother the gsx. If you don't start with an AWD chassis you are going to have major work cut out for you and will still probably need one of the aforementioned models as a parts car.
 

That should be do-able but the rear diff has a different gear ratio then the turbo model.

Hmmm there's a clean galant gsx for 1800 on craigslist that's a good piece of info I would of never known thanks
