Hello everyone. I'm the new owner of a '91 Galant VR4, # 1227 of 2000. New to GVR4's, not new to DSM/Evos. I'm in Jersey City, NJ. Wanted one of these for a while, when I was a kid. Stumbled upon this one in a trade. 167k miles, bone stock. 4WS light is on. Previous owner says the PS fluid will leak out completely in 3 days. Will be working on that this week, either fixing the leak or eliminating 4WS. Radiator or cap may need replacement too (slow leak at the top), and left rear caliper might be seizing up.

Gonna go browse these forums now. Happy new year!

Welcome to the forums. I believe I saw your post on IG.
As for the 4WS light, I would check the p/s fluid level sensor. It could be something as simple as bad wiring or a short.
Hopefully not something too bad like steering line failure.
Good luck!

Uploaded from iPhone. Not sure why they're sideways, but you get the idea.

He said it goes empty, so not the light/sensor. It's a straight up leak.

My vote is to ditch it. Gimmicky and I prefer simplicity anyways.

5-lug, 4-bolt, non-abs and rear stear elimnination all from some DSM subframes makes it easy.
