well it runs, but it's still in dayton at my buddies. i am hoping to get it on the 5th or the 6th of november. the move has slowed everything down as i haven't had a job since we got here and as of the 15th i started my retired life job of the trailer park manager. i collect rent, make deposits and contact the maintenance man if anyone needs anything. i also have 2 spaces available that i try to rent for the owner.

Well, I finally made the jump and swapped the tune to speed density. I've got the car dialed in great at idle and cruise.

I have some work to do at WOT still, though. I'm running out of injector on the top end, so until I can upgrade I'm going to hold out on completely dialing in the car. For now, I just turned the boost down on the top end to avoid leaning the car out. Even on low boost it runs awesome, though. I feel like it runs much better than it did on the MAF.

In the mean time, I'll be on the lookout for a set of FIC 1650 High-Z injectors to get the fuel system back up to par.

When I was still running a MAF, I had the MAP sensor wired into the stock narrow band O2 sensor plug. I then used my WBO2 to simulate the narrow band O2.

Now that I ditched the MAF, it opened up the IAT and Baro ECU inputs. With the MAF gone, you can simply use the plug and play speed density cable to run both the MAP and IAT sensors. Just plug the cable into the old MAF plug and you're good to go. The cable is available from ECMlink: click

Ok I'm just having a problem with my map sensor. I put on a new sensor and pig tail. Got rid of all the useless splices and now the car won't run at all. Double check all the wires and I have them were the old wiring was. It ran before but would die periodically.

FIC 1650 High-Z injectors are on the way. Took the old girl out and got some nice Fall pics. MD is pretty sweet around Autumn time.

These showed up in the mail today. Now, I should have the fuel needed to push this 68HTA V2 to its limit. I'm pretty excited to get them in the car and get the tune dialed in.

More updates for Olsen.

1650s are in, and the tune is mostly dialed in. I have a bit of work to do to the VE table during spool up, but the car is running great.

First impressions of the 1650 High-Z injectors are AWESOME. Amazing driveability, and superb performance up top. Idle and cruise are smooth as butter, and I'd think the car had stock 450s in it if I didn't know any better.

I've got lots of good stuff in store for 1837.

I'll start with my fuel situation. I recently upgraded to FIC 1650s, and believe I'm running out of pump @ 30PSI. So, I picked up an Aeromotive A1000 to run in series with my in-tank Aeromotive Stealth 340. I got everything installed, and flipped on the system to check for leaks. Sadly, the A1000 was slightly leaking fuel from the power terminals. So, I pulled it off and sent it in to Aeromotive for service. I'm hoping to have it back sometime next week.

Next up, drivetrain upgrades! I finished picking up the remaining parts I needed to install my Shep trans. I'll be swapping in an ACT release bearing, as well as a new Competition Clutch forged steel release fork & pivot ball. I also grabbed some solid shifter base bushings to make shifting a bit crisper. Hopefully, all this combined with the stage 2 Shep trans makes for some quick shifts.

Last but not least, future turbo setup: FP3052 and Tial 44mm wastegate /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Now, just have to find time to put all this stuff on...
