MTXL logging question

On the MTXL it has two wires that can be used for logging the AFR signal. Those wires are brown and orange. My question is, do I need to run those wires ( I assume Link will have an option?) or can I just leave them be and keep the gauge running as is in my pod and not mess with anything else?

If I wanted to log the AFR from my ECU where would I find said wires to tap into for the proper signal?

Thanks guys.

I'm so ready to start the car but also nervous. I turned the key last night to check Link (bought V3L last tax season and keep it in the box til last night). The timing showed up 64* with the key in the "ON" position. That's not right and I was told to start the car and the value would change.

yea it says in the install book if you dont want to wire into a logger just cover the brown and orange and leave it be, mine isnt wired to a logger but works fine.

Is your friend, I've learned so much by reading any and everything on there. Have you got on the forums yet?

I've logged on once to the link forums. I guess I will go do a bit of reading over there.
