Wish Weston never sold this.... should've just fixed the motor and enjoyed a conservative tune on it.

That being said, I'm glad to see someone using it instead of it sitting in Weston's garage torn apart. Still looks good as always.

Well instead of him, I will enjoy the hell out of this car! Lol I drive it daily, and it runs like a top. I'm running 12 psi daily due to not having a wideband nor any sort of tune on it except the chipped Ecu and some 550s.

Update time!

So over the winter I picked up a 2008 Lancer GTS as my daily driver, So the VR4 has gone "under the knife" since it will no longer be my daily driver.

New maintenance and mods are:

DSMlink lite

Innovative MTX-L

Aeromotive FPR

Punishment racing 36"x12"x3.0" from end tank to end tank intercooler with short route piping

Torque solutions driveshaft bushings

FP2 cams

New oem drivers side lower control arm

Oil pan gasket removed and replaced with The Right Stuff gasket maker

3/4 oil return to replace hard pipe

Black Silicone radiatior hoses

New Gates water pump

New Gates timing belt+balance shaft belts with all new pullies, tensioners and OEM hydraulic tensioner

New CV axles

Ported Oil filter housing

Fidanza 8 lb. flywheel

Act 2600 with street disc

FIC 880cc injectors

I have installed all of this, and I will be starting her up for the first time in a few days. I am pretty anxious but I feel that I have done everything the correct way (proper torque specs) so I dont think ill have any issues. Lol wish me luck!

My Intercooler piping, sanded it down and used duplicolor metalcast red

Fp2 cams and t belt installed

Valve cover before

Valve cover prepped and ready for paint

And after, I went with the same duplicolor metalcast but blue obviously lol

Mocked up, the letters on the valve cover will be painted the same red as the piping

Update time!

So I have been busy working on installing a lot of new parts on the car since the last update.

New parts:
South Florida performance t3 manifold (it's been welded on the inside and cleaned up to match the t3 gasket.
Brand new PTE 6153re dual ball bearing turbo
Cyclone intake manifold (t25 wastegate actuating butterflies)
Shaved valve cover and powdercoated white
2g power steering pump
-10an oil return with bung welded to pan
38mm external Tial wastegate
Stainless exhaust manifold studs
Vibrant silicone vacuum lines
FIC 1650cc injectors
5 lug swap with all brand new Mitsu bearings and dust caps
Powerstop cross drilled and slotted rotors
3000gt vr4 4 piston calipers
13.1" front rotors
Evo x MR BBS rims (powdercoated white)
4" fp intake powdercoated white
Gates blue timing and balance shaft belts
2g injector clips

I haven't gotten a chance to start it with all of this, due to not having a second set of hands to help me bleed the brakes, I also had to take the turbo setup off due to breaking off a stud in my head :/ So as always it's JSB!

At this time, I modified my intercooler piping To make it look better than it did. (All those couplers really annoyed me lol) I also have the transmission out to get a fresh coat of NOT red paint, as it sits now.

So while the transmission is out, I will be pulling the engine to prep the bay for a fresh new coat of paint as well. So things are all coming together nicely! I will be posting pics of all this soon.

This is what's currently getting stripped and repainted with some alumablast paint.

My engine bay as it sits now. I painted the top of the fenders, cleaned up the headlights, and also painted the radiatior support

I just got don't wrapping my headliner with black suede. Turned out pretty good. Although I don't know how to get the sliding shade out of the sunroof to get that done as well

Also did the arm rest and visors while I was at it

Fresh and new Tial /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

This is the headlight after freshing up
