Information For The Public Registry

I noticed the current registry isn't updated. People keep asking how many are left, and asking for a more organized registry. So I decided to make a better registry. I copied the information from the current registry, the responses to it, and information from the user list. I will be going through the user list and pulling more information from it later. If people want to have their information updated, please post it here in the format listed below. If you have a 1991, the badge number will be XXXX/2000. If you have a 1992, the badge number will be XXXX/1000.

1991 Registry
1992 Registry

User the form below or post a response in the format below.

Status (Running, not running, crushed, totaled, etc.):

Sunroof (Yes/No):
Rust (If it is rusty at all, put yes):

Lol, while the registry may not be up to date via the forum, Iceman is the one who keeps track of the actual registry. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Well hopefully we can get all the information combined and get something more complete and available for people to look at.

The information will always only be up to date as people input updates to the car whereabouts. Obviously if you look in my Signature you can easily tell where 1350 has ended. Just as when badges are swapped/sold, owners/sellers need to let Iceman know when doing so. That often happens with owners that have sentimental values toward one or two of their VR4s, or bought a car with no badge either it was one of the 9 pre-badged or the one of the previous owners kept it.

Just trying to get a single source for all the information. I can tell that your car is scrapped from your signature, but no one wants to look at everyone's profile to find out about the cars. From your signature I can't tell what the VIN is, what color it was, if it had a sunroof. Let's say someone comes across a badge for 1350 but not that car. If they look in the registry they can look up 1350, find the VIN, and see that it was scrapped. If someone buys a car without a badge, they can look in the registry, find the VIN, and see what badge belongs to it and who used to have it. I'm just trying to get that kind of source together.

I don't think you understand what raptoreed is saying. The registration isn't public. Iceman has an up to date registry that he maintains. That thread is just where people give him new info, amongst PMs and other ways. So the list you are making is futile, because Iceman already has a more complete version than you will ever be able to assemble

With that being said, my intent is to have something public. If Iceman is making something private he wants to keep, I'll make something public and post what information I can get. If he would like to help me make something public and give me the information he has, then great.

I received your pm, but could not get the files to work on my work pc. When I get a chance I will look at them. I am willing to work with you to get this info in a more usable form. I have not had lots of time to devote to this in recent years.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I work IT and tend to have a LOT of spare time.

Does that mean you have 1687 and you put the badge from 138 on it?

Yes. Shane sold the original badge and bought 138 for it.

That's why getting VIN numbers is so important, that's the hardest part though. I sold the 627 badge, so there could be another 627 on the road right now

Edit: 960/1000 should be under the username Armitage. He built it and drove it for over a decade.

Don't make vin numbers publicly available for obvious reasons.

You guys realize you are now just creating a third location with all of this car info, right? This making it harder to consolidate. I say this guy and iceman need to get their resources put together first to simplify things a bit.

I would assume since most car VIN numbers are generally easily seen on the dash, it's not a big deal to have it posted somewhere.

And Iceman is going to be getting me the information he has and I will be combining it with what I have and keeping it somewhat up to date.
