If it's supposed to be a US VR4, then it's a clone gone bad!

Did Galant VR4's come A/T?

Other than Marks AMS GVR4 which he converted to A/T .....I always thought all E39a Galant VR4's were 5 speeds. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

If you look at the engine bay picture it looks like there is a slot for a clutch master cylinder that was removed. So it may be an A/T conversion. However, the gauge cluster doens't appear to have the led boost gauge. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I'll agree with the clone gone bad comment. It definitely appears to be an AT galant that someone gave a gvr4 makeover to.

this can't be a real vr4 judging by the first couple pictures in her showcase not having vr4 side skirts and dog legs and then scrolling down shows a post by her saying......

Update.
grill, AMG center grill, VR-4 side skirt kit , JDM corner(amber difuser removed), JDM decalc and '93 headlight and Full LED Conversion(Tail, parking, brake,...)

that confirms its not a vr4 along with the other things people noticed. and also probably only reason for hideous front bumper.

possibly the Canadian version of the the galant gsx? an AWD Eagle 2000gtx ... its completely a Mitsubishi car (says Mitsubishi on all parts) only thing different is eagle badges instead of mitsu.

Not actually, all the firewalls were the same its just weather or not it was punched out or not. They are a inner and outer panel. The inner has all the holes, and the outer only has the ones that are used for what ever options there are on that specific car.

On all these cars you will find that there are the provision stamp outs for either and all options. This is why when you do a auto to manual conversion in a DSM, or a amnual to auto in the galants, it is so easy. You have the templates to cut.
