I just found these while looking for the wiring diagrams for something else. I'd scanned them a while back to post, but not got round to it.

It has come to my attention there is a question over the orientation of the trunklid badges (they should be parallel to the black trim) It looks like there was an issue on the scanner due to the size of the book. I'll try to post images to clarify.

very helpful! I know by boot/trunk lid badges have been off before as the MMC and red diamonds are in the wrong place.

I don't know where to put this so I'll park it here. Here are the factory locations for the Japanese Mirage/Lancer Range too:

I'd scanned these a while back, and then forgotten. I went through all the shop manuals and these are all of the specs provided for the Galant Line. For the Lancer/Mirage I only have one book so there may be others to cover the Evo II and III, but I do not have them.

Hope this helps,

Rich

So wishing there was an, 87-9X book there. Are those CA2A models, ie the EVO3? That was the 93+ bodystyle for North America available only in sedan shapes, not the hatchback shape.

Great work in finding this many manuals thus far and getting them scanned. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/applause.gif

I will keep my eyes peeled for the C5x series. I have one, but its only a mid year update for a 4wd liftback. It came as part of a joblot.

The lancer ones I posted are indeed the Evo generation. I have three I dropped o. again. The main manual from the start of model run ( where these came from), the body repair manual, and the 94 wiring diagram manual. that covers all including the CE9A and the V6 ones.

Hi Allan,

I have not seen it as a specific image otherwise i would have scanned it here.
I've not noticed it show up in the 89.10, 90.03, 90.10 or 91.10 books.

Could the door badge separation cover it?

These pics should show the Galant trunk badges better (apologies for the flatness in the first image, I think it's this that makes the badges look 'non parallel')

I hope this helps,

Rich
