Galant GSX intake kit question and MAF-T question

Hi, does anyone know if an intake kit for a n/t 4g63 needs to incorperate the MAF or is it that can be omited. The intake kit i bought for my car is for a 1g n/t eclipse and didnt come with anything to adapt my maf on to it.

Has anyone run a GM MAF and MAF-T on a N/T 4g63 with any success?

Here's a pic of the intake kit i picked up.

You're going to need a means to measure incoming air. Factory is the best option, unless it's somehow prohibiting performance.

Going to a MAFT setup would most likely not yield much of anything except a hole int eh wallet and the need to tune more often.

I already have the 3"GM MAF and MAF-T from when I was planning on converting the Galant into a Turbo car.

You're honestly trying to put parts together that usually aren't worth someone's time to have figured out until now. Does the Maft translator accommodate the N/T injector size even? If you got a K&N filter to fit in the stock maf housing, you would just need a coupler to hook it to your intake. That is, if you find you need to go with the stock MAF route.
