Will somebody do me a big favor and make a measurement of the distance between that front(top) hood mounting bolt and the fender bolt that the kit replaces with the ball? I want to run these on my turbo Mirage, but would like to know if they fit first.

With my hood fully open with the gas struts on (which open it a hair more than with the stock prop rod, I measured about 14-7/8". Just under 15" using a tape measure.

Thanks Wop. I know it's a tall order, but could you get me a rough estimate of the distance with the hood closed too? I gotta make sure it doesn't bind up and keep the hood from closing cause it's too long.
