Big means its a big internal 16g normally it will say 42 on serial code stamped on the turbo if its a big 16g

the numbers you're looking for are the 42, 52, or 47.

Big or small?

I'm pretty certain the evo 3 ONLY ever came as a big 16g, i've never found an evo 3 small 16g for sale? Normally I think that's correct but usually G is pretty good on citing specifics, except for his location of course. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif

Its a big 16g post pics man!

47 means it is an EVOIII 16g. I guess you could call it a EVOIII big 16g, but that just seems redundant /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Minus the compressor cover, turbine shaft, and center section the "Big" and EvoIII 16G are different. I always correct people IRL when they say Big EvoIII 16G. Like Josh said you can't buy a small EvoIII 16G so saying it just makes you sound like a ********.
