I would have assumed that the molds would be identical between fiber and urethane.

Urethane would definitely be ideal for longevity sake. Nothing worse than one bad speed bump or pothole cracking the dang thing in half. Although cf would be pimping to look at.

I'd do it if I had a JDM bumper. Only member in San Diego I know who has a JDM bumper is "I got one too".
