fender removal

well i found 2 good condition fenders for 100 for the galant and was just wondering is there any hidden nuts that i should look for or there all pretty much exposed? a graph would be nice thnx guys

They're all pretty straight forward man.

Start with the suck. Get down on the ground and pull the ones out of the bottom of the fender by the door. Then move to the ones inside the splash guard over the tire. There's a tricky one where the bumper cover meets the fender that you have to get to from below. You'll want to use a socket with an extension or try to sneak a ratchet wrench in there between the fender and splash guard.

Now that you're off the ground, open the driver's door and get the one (or is it two?) on the back side. You have to go between the door and the sill to get it (them). Remove the corner light and undo the ones in there that bolt up next to the headlight. This should be all of them short of the top, which you can then easily remove while standing up so you can have one hand ready to catch the fender when it wants to let go.

That should probably read "Get down on the ground and snap off the ones out of the bottom of the fender by the door."
