He just wanted to further make this point.

I look at it as karma for screwing a guy here on some parts.

I'm just confused by what he did. If he stomped on his brakes out of curiosity and he blew up a brake line, that is a GOOD thing. That means he blew it up when he didn't really need it. Now he can put on proper lines that won't explode when a real emergency braking situation actually happens. But I'm just speculating. I can't yet translate yeti-eise.

I cant tell wtf this thread is really about... But, going through the vr4 this weekend I saw the rear lines were pretty rotten and cracked.

OEM 20y/o lines.. probably about time to replace if they're original.

that's what I read and it's a good thing indeed. A controlled environment 'stress test' is pretty useful in fact. Trying it on the highway would be stupid.

I had the very same problem, the rear right brake line exploted while I was on a trip, fortunately I could retur using parking brake, few months later was the front left the line that had the same problem. Other 2 are still waiting to be replaced.

Are you insinuating I screwed someone on parts because I have not done anything to anyone on here....

And I did the "controlled stress test" coming to a stop sign going like 3mph but stupid because I caused the failure...

This thread is just to show why you shoud test your system
And why I'm dumb ...by the way the line that exploded was a ss line
