Evo steering rack in a GVR-4?

If this has been asked i apologize, I tried a couple different searches and all it came up with was the steering wheel. My question is this, has anyone attempted or swapped a steering rack from an evo to a galant. I thought of this since it is possible that i may have to replace the steering rack in 192 and do not want to go to a manual steering rack. I personally would love to have the quick response the Evo rack has, but the shitty turning radius is about the only turn off.
