Dumb question about my Keydriver chip and MAFT

So I got my car with a SAFC, a MAFT w/ 3" GM MAF, and Keydriver chip in the ECU. I just sold the SAFC to help fund with me going to Speed Density. My question is if I want to drive the car now, do I now have to connect the white wire from the MAFT to a RPM signal? Or does the Keydriver chip override the need to do so?

The RPM signal is just used for finer tuning or triggering.

1) It's easy to hook up.
2) You don't need it to drive the car.

If it's not hooked up now, I wouldn't bother.

Thanks but I got the part I was waiting for to go speed density today, so there is no need to run the MAFT anymore.
