this might be a dumb question. But i cant get my motor to idle over 625. So will the car run if the cam position sensor is on backwards will the motor run? I have a 4g63
 

If its on a 1g or galant its impossible to get the cam sensor installed backwards, it could be 180 out. but not backward.

Even on a 2g 95-96 its under the cam gear it would be impossible for this as well to be backward.


I'd make sure your TPS is set correctly, and adjust the BS

The car wouldn't run if it was 180 out.
