Brake Master Cylinder where to buy?

I am looking for a new Brake Master Cylinder but I can't seem to find one locally. I ordered a new one from rockauto but it started leaking shortly after installing it. I tried Napa but they would have to special order it.

Any ideas on where to find one locally in Denver?

If you need it quick, a mitsu dealer might have it in stock or within a day or 2. Otherwise go to JNZ Tuning's website. They offer OEM parts at a significant discount. Since you've already had bad luck with the rock auto sourced re-man'd unit (just curious, who manufactured it?) OEM is probably your best bet.

Buy it from your local parts store that has a lifetime warranty. A new EOM one from JNZtuning is $290 (w/o shipping). At Autozone, you will pay $50 (after core return).

So buy locally and save yourself $250. If it fails again, they will replace it.

The leaky one I got from Rock Auto was a Raybestos.

Thanks for the tips. I ended up ordering one from Autozone as you suggested. It was like $50 if you bring them the core like you said. Should be here on Tues. Hopefully this one doesn't leak. Kinda tired of bleeding brake lines for nothing.

I actually took that advice as well. Should be here tuesday. Forget $250 for $50 I'll swap it out a few times if I have too!

Guess we can compare results, lol.

I did the same when I upgraded my brakes & went to the local Advance Auto store. Haven't had a problem since.
