Midwestern Council event, cost was $115. You get 2 practice sessions and 4 timed runs, totalling about 10 laps as fast as U could go. Council has more autocross at Blackhawk Farms three times, again at Autobahn on Oct. 1 and Gingerman on Labor day.

Mid-Ohio has a VSCDA Vintage event in October where you can take your street car on the track during the 40min. lunch break Sat. & Sun. for $50/day. This "touring" so no balls-out speeds. VSCDA also has touring at Road America twice and at Grattan (near Grand Rapids) this summer.

NASA runs High Speed Drivers Ed events ($165) for street cars at several midwest tracks. NASA is at Autobahn this weekend. You'll get more than an hour of flatout track time with instruction. NASA membership is cheap.
