Just got done replacing the bearings and installing the plug for the oil pump... That was the easy part. When i went to tap the freeze plate in the front crank plate it cracked around where the seal use to sit... any sugestions on how to prevent this from happening when i get the new plate? And would anyone know where i could pick that plate up? Thanks.

You don't have to use a freeze plug, you just the oem plug from here: click

and you don't need to tap it in that far. Mine was just tapped in far enough to be a snug fit and had a smearing of RTV around the outside to make a perfect seal. I would say it was only recessed perhaps a couple millimeters.

Yeah i did some more research and found out more on the freeze plug...and the oil pump. The freeze plug came with my kit so i figured id use it. but on to the more pressing issue... new oil pump.
