Why the hell would they be different?
The GSR vs. MR is just a trim level.
Same brakes, same wheel size needed, the MR and GSR wheels have always been the same size.
in the 8/9 they were 17x8, and now in the 10 they're 18x8.5

So width wise they are the same. Thank you that's all I needed to know.

The 8/9 had 8" width, the 10 has 8.5" width.
The question was: does the GSR trim have a different size wheel for a given generation of the Evo than the MR trim- the answer is no. They are the same size.
