it just doesn't want to come loose.
1990 non vr4 galant with 180,000 miles. I bought the car with about 112,000. I really do not have any idea if it has ever been changed. tried changing it a couple years ago. Didn't want to come loose then either. I have soaked it in PB blaster, Seafoam deepcreep, and some other product I do not remember the name of. Have indeed tried using two wrenches on the same side. filter/line. but it won't budge and I really don't want to break the bottom line .
any suggestion's or help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using flair wrenches? If not, get them, if so, put some powah in to it. The lines shouldn't just break. You should be able to use a socket on the top one.

Flare wrench FTW. Or a 3/8 impacting air ratchet with a flared end crows foot and ~100psi tapping at it, should your next door neighbor be Tim Allen.

Flare wrench and worst case vice grips. I might have been on top of the engine the first time I did it to get enough leverage. It can be a knuckle buster so it's good time to use gloves if you have them.

It shouldn't break, but I did it with mine, and just put in SS -6an line. poop.
