65A for 1g MT, 75A for 1g AT and 2g all, 90A for Canada cars and GVR4s

1G AWDs are 75A Chassis# D27A
1G 4g63 NA or Turbo FWDs are 75A or 65A Chassis# D22A
1G NA 1.8L MT 65A, AT 75A Chassis# D21A

As For 2Gs
2G AWD Turbo 75A Chassis# D33A
2G FWD/Spyder Turbo 75A Chassis# D32A/D38A
2G NA Spyders 90A Chassis# D39A
2Gs have a different style plug I believe

+1 on a Auto Tsi 75amp alternator fitting the GVR4 like a glove with no power Issues.

Just in case your parts store don't have the 90amp

I just went and bought one from auto zone and call it a day. Taking off and put it back on was a bitch, but it good to go now. Now I seem to have another problem. the car seem to have no power until the turbo kick in.

The subaru alternators are made my mitsubishi and some are big amps and the plugs match. Do a search of my name and alternator. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think the low end power lost is from the 18 Motegi wheels. I will put stock wheels back on and hopefully the lag will be better.
