alternator question

i just installed an alternator relocation kit and need to extend the wiring. i already have a 4 gauge wire going to the battery to the alternator, but do i still need the two positive white wires? Since im using the 4 gauge from the battery to the alternator can i eliminate the two positive wires?

Yes you can eliminate the two white wires that are connected by one ring terminal.
