I snagged 238/2000 in august 22’, so far I’ve been just getting it coated and painted the bay. I also own 935/1000 belize green. I’ll be swapping a lot over from that to 238. Reason being, 935 is just a rusted mess underneath unfortunately. Some photos of the process so far. In Massachusetts area, hopefully by end of summer I’ll be driving this beast around.

Few undercarriage photos of 935. Started gutting it while I wait for a few parts to come in the mail to get 238 going. Pulled the motor I originally put in 935. That motors all refreshed and ready. Swapped out the antenna for a motorized one, it’s the little things. Gutted 238 to start deep cleaning it, also stripped the rockers to be coated. Surprisingly this car is very clean.

Looking at what I’m missing, what I can swap over. Thankfully 935 has 99% of what I need for 238. I’ll have a lot of spare parts, if you need something let me know.

As of now I’m waiting on tubular front and rear subframes and manual rack from ndd motor sports. Sent the calipers to be rebuilt and powder coated at detective coating.

Cleaned up the floor after taking out the carpet. Kilamat the floor and trunk area after coating it as well. Carpet came out awesome! Original carpet from my 92’ . Going through the wiring as of now, all the bs people will do just to add some janky add ons is mind blowing. Luckily I have factory connections and wiring from my other car that weren’t messed with.

Sandblasted and coated a few things, new hub seals, bearings and studs. I’ve been waiting on these subframes foreverrrrrrr. Still waiting on few parts to come in to install the subframes and everything else to get it rolling. Sent the calipers down to detective coating. They rebuilt them and powder coated them came out awesome! Slowly but surely getting it going. More parts in the mail coming. It’s always the waiting game 😂

Doing things here and there while I wait for parts to get it rolling. All new bushings from gsx-dude dcp ultimate brass shifter kit. So far I really like this kit ! Some boosted fab mounts came in. These are badass ! Boosted fab has quality parts. Always on time and worth the purchase. I can’t wait to get this car going !

Looking good. I'm also in MA - we'll have to get some local galants together when they're all running and it's warmer out.
