    When you received the block and head how smooth was the finish ? On my build I asked for a diamond cut resurface had to ask around since not too many shops did that but the surface was mirror like.At this point if you don't wanna chance it then a composite head gasket would be the safest...

    Well I would re-use the washers just to be on the safe side I had to but I'm using the boostx bushings.

    Why not just buy the bracket I had mine welded but it really burns the hell out of that 20+ year plus old bushing. And if you ever wanna upgrade to different evo suspension you already have the brackets.

    Ok so does any body have a picture of the torque sequence for the main caps I couldn't find anything beside the amount of torque to tighten them . Just nothing in the sequential order they go in I downloaded the overhaul pdf in the library but didn't find anything.

    Here the Timken seal I was talking bout cheaper than an OEM seal and looks and feels allot better and designed better IMHO nothing wrong with the SKF seals only reason i changed mine is because I damaged mine while moving stuff around.

    I have a new OEM front wheel bearing and Timken inner seal made in Japan if you wanna buy them or trade for parts .I bought the seals of rockauto and personally like the Timken seals alot better than the SKF seals they look like an upgraded version of the OEM seals ill see if can post a pic.

    That's way too much it's not that difficult to replace an air compressor if they were to change the expansion valve and filter and charge it then it would be OK but 1000 for just to change it out is insane you can change it out your self not that difficult if you have basic tools.

    I don't think Shep does dsm transmissions any more last time I checked there web site. Why not go with TRE if there close to you seems like the easiest thing to do.

    Yes it was all that hard work finally paid off but yea it did felt great knowing its got fresh new bearing and literally all new bushings . But it's still has a lot to go but its getting there little by little.
