I have a quick question, I am getting fitttings for the brakes and clutch master to convert to SS lines. What is the thread on the clutch master on the side, and can anyone tell me the threas for the brake calipers? I was going to get some lines made up for them.Thanks for your help,Jeff

I have one with a walbro 255 in it. It is in good shape, the only thing is the PO put a -8 fitting on the fuel outlet. I am suer you could mod it if you are that desperate. Let me know if out are interested, I am in downers Grove by the 355

FP2 exhaust cams are at extremepsi.com for 289 for the exhaust, one of the only cams they have left. It says they are in stock still, might want to grab it while you can.

Ams doesn't deal with first gen dsm any more (I know, gvr4 is not one). I plan on using boostin performance, I have heard nothing but good things.

I just got a TYC alternator, it is a 2-08215. It is an alternator for a 98 saturn DOHC coupe, fit great on my motor.

are you looking for the mount that holds the bushing that goes to the subframe or the mount that bolts to the engine?Jeff

272s are not too bad for daily driving. I was driving some gsc 272s (now S2) every day, winter and all. They actually idle good and pull good vacuum for your brake booster, so there is no reason to make your car a "track only" car because of it.

yeah, I have 1G RRE on my car, the last hole is about 1/4-1/2 inch off. You need to drill a new hole for it. not a big deal though, everything else works on it.

^ that is pretty good. I wish I had a picture of the jy taking my BG off the trailer. He couldn't figure out how to get underneeth the car with the sides on my trailer, so he ran the forks through the front and pass windshield. Would have been a good pic for this thread.

they will only go in the jdm bumper. the stock lights are more "square" and the jdm lights are rectangular

any numbers/stampings on the center section? That would pry tell you more. Looking at it, I know agp sells garretts with turbonetics intake and exhaust housings on them, but see if there is anything else on it.Jeff

Try wrapping the flanges with tin foil and drive it for a bit. The leak will soot up the foil where the leak is. That is what we do at my work anyways, seems to work pretty good.Also check the turbo exhaust side, I just took mine apart and the pte exhaust housing was cracked and leaking.

yeah, I am saying when the car is turned off, you will have a draw in the system where something is on pulling the power constantly, so if you start your car constently, you are fine, but if it sits, the battery will die. that being said, all your system (batt, alternator, etc) is fine, but...

Not that I am questioning your ability to diagnose a dead battery, but I know my car had a problem with the starter solenoid where it would pull the pinion gear in, but not spin the motor which made the car seem dead (would click), but the battery/charging system/battery cables were fine. Lots...

I know with coilovers, the shocks have different part numbers because of the rear. The coilovers that are on my car were on a 1g and sat way too high, then when we put them on my gvr4 it was slammed in the rear, so the heights are different.
