Yeah just running a FP 16g in a colt and wanna be able to catch traction so 275-300 hp is enough. Not really planning on going all out so a basic stock rebuild kit will work. Also will be ordering ARP rod bolt and head stud along with ACL bearings.

Found another crank and block from when mine walked. Wondering if anyone has a good place I could by all the gaskets at once and bearings and rings. The block I am getting is stripped completely and need to fully rebuild it.

I ordered 2g piston 1g rod combo from them, took 2 months to get here and the pistons were not on the rods. Will never order from them again. Sorry to hear about your troubles.

Oil in the coolant, if not taken care of can spin a rod bearing because the oil becomes to thin.

Picked up a 92 galant motor for my colt swap and was doing a timing belt...when I put the crank pulley back on I was pushing on it and I felt a pop and a thud on the tranny side of the motor . Guessing that it has around a 1/8 inch of play back and forth, think I could just replace the bearings...

This sounds like phantom knock, check. Your sensor to see if its leaking goop. How much lifter tick are you getting might need to switch to 3g liters.

I recently rebuilt the motor and put 2g pistons in. I don't that we should jump to harsh conclusions like a spun bearing just yet. The only thing I have done to remove the knock is 3g lifters, but they were from a 99 gst and they had 120k on them.
