This is NOT a non-rotating part. It's screwed to the oil pump gear and supports it
  18. Balance shafts eliminatator kit, stub shaft question

I would tend to agree. I had a RRE unit that didn't have the oil groove that ate the oil pump eventually. The factory stub shaft you can buy for really cheap has the groove.

  24. brake line leaking

Save yourself the headache of having to fix later. Replace the line all the way from the prop valve to the rear for both of them. Might want to pick up a roll of larger diameter fuel line and do the feed and return gas lines at the same time while you're at it. I did all 4 of mine at the...

$100 shipped for all of it, or make me an offer for what you need.
  26. for those of you with front plate laws, where is your plate?

Drove around WI for 15 years in my Spyder without a front plate, and neither of my GVR4's had a front plate while I owned them either. Never once did I get hassled about it, even if I got pulled over for something else. Then again, WI got |this| close to passing legislation to go to a back...

  40. FS: the best shop lights you could ever buy

Thanks guys. Was mainly concerned about running the individual wires from the ballast into a junction box, without some sort of flex or conduit or something. You rarely see exposed individual wires like that, and wasn't sure of the general code.Since there doesn't appear to be any way to...
  41. FS: the best shop lights you could ever buy

So, out of curiosity, now that I have my stash of these...What is the "proper" (code?) way to wire them to AC power? Just a plastic grommet in a electrical box for the wires to go through? Would like to wire them up as close to code as possible. I realize codes are different everywhere...
  42. FS: 1988 MX-6 GT (Turbo) , Pittsburgh, PA - $2,400

Back in the day, I owned a 1988 626 4-door turbo version of this car. It was fast as hell for what it was. Really surprised a lot of guys (sleeper). Was pretty rare to have the 4-door one instead of the 5 door (hatchback) one in turbo too.
