I dont think the SMC has autotune ... the SMC is the first model so it doesn't have alot of the features that the SM2 and SM4 has .... I decided to go Autronic because my friend/tuner said it was one of the best standalone's that he has worked with .... and it was cheap ($250 used)

I have tried to find ANYBODY with an SMC and it seems like the only autroics with in 500 miles are SM4s ... I do have a contact of a contact in Georgia who is running an SMC ... I will probably end up sending the unit to him and have him try it in his car with his CAL file and see if it fires.

pull the fuel rail off pull the injectors out of the head ... put the injectors in the rail sticking up with them still plugged in and have someone crank the car ... you should be able to see the injectors spray in the following order 1-4-3-2 make sure they are all getting a good mist type spray...

I have checked for signal everywhere ... even took the cover off the ecu and touched the probe to the lead going to the output pin ... you cant get any more direct than that.
