There's sometimes a hole in the valve cover right by where that oil is pooling. I have no idea why it's there, but a lot of times that's where that oil comes from.

Make SURE you've fixed ALL of your boost leaks and fluid leaks before even thinking of strapping the car down. Also, know when to stop.

Just FYI, those are 780s.

Check your wiring connections, but also inspect the fuel sock on the bottom of the pump. It sounds like the pump is overheating and will work again on e it cools off. I chased this problem years ago and the fuel filter sock was clogged terribly.

I'm in the middle of this same conversion; would you mind telling me which engine mount brackets are used? I've grabbed a pile of them from various auto talons and galants, but now I can't remember which mounts were for which car.

Though I'm positive it's not the fastest, the engine in the galant when it went 11.22 @ 127 was a stock rebuild; 1g pistons, fresh stock sized rings, 1g rods, stock crank. It actually went faster with that bottom end than it did with the built one, but it was due to other factors.Just a data...

I think that would be a great turbo on that manifold. My mirage made 430 at 24psi on a t3 60-1, so I think you're being very realistic with the power expectation.

I drove either 996/1000 or 997/1000 when they were new at the mitsu dealer in Wilkes Barre, Pa, in 1992. The trans felt just as notchy as the one in my 91, even when that car had 17 miles on it.
