  7. ACT or QuarterMaster Twin Plate

Having had both the ptt and qm, I like the ptt better. Maybe I shaved the forks a bit too much the 1st time for the qm setup. But after the 2nd fork broke on me after a couple laps at the local circuit track I was fed up and bought the ptt. With the ptt conical bearing and the 2g accumulator...
  8. MMC Galant AMG - ECU uncovered

    Can you get the rom/bin?
  9. TH3 Lazy arse Australian / New Zealand Picture build thread

For the guys with the QM, i hope you got the updated hardened disks. I stripped the teeth on the disks clean a year ago after doing a pull. Destroyed the input shaft with it. I went PPT after and liked the fact that i didn't have to grind down the fork. But both are good clutches regardless...

I did this a few months ago on my Evo 2. I rewired the a patch harness to run a 1g ecu/dsmlink v3 with the evo 2 harness. What exactly are you guys trying to figure out? The evo 123 harness is almost exactly the same as the 2g minus the 3rd plug on the ecu which has all the obd2 stuff on it.

  18. why do people hate bc products?

+1 on brainawdIn the streets of manila, you might enjoy the 264/264 more. 272 powerband is a bit high for my taste, especially with road conditions and lunatic drivers that hog up the roads. Other wise go for the bigger cams if you will run track at brc, subic, or cisw.

  25. Help cheeky sort this idle !!!

Are you using v3? If you are it will be easier since you can ground the connections via the check boxes "misc" tab. To set base timing, check "ground timing connector." To set the idle with the BISS: check both "ground timing connector" and "ground diagnostic pin." In case the idle switch...

  36. Which is better a 2g MAF or GM MAS?

You need dsmlink with a map sensor to log boostclick
  37. Which is better a 2g MAF or GM MAS?

I'd go with the 2g/evo mas for your setup. To make it easier, only go with gm maf with v3 dsmlink. When i made the transition from translator to v3 dsmlink native support, I found that the maft was way out of calibration.

  41. Ati damper, clearance issue

I'm currently installing a new ATI damper for the vr4. Basically it required me to do a timing belt job since it uses new crank sprocket. Another issue was that I had to heat up the hub sprocket in my toaster oven for 10 min to fit it on the crank. After that was done, I test fitted the pulley...

My friend sprays copper gasket sealant (same one used on the head gasket) for the front case gasket. Then he tightens the bolts and let's it sit overnight before priming.
  43. act 3200 or exedy twin disk

I have gone from a 2600, to 2900, now on a QM twin-disk. I like the pedal feel of the QM the best since its less pressure than the act 2600. The engagement is a bit rough if you're too quick on the release, but I think it can be manageable for dd. The adjustment on the rod adjustment of the...
