I don't use a gasket there. Just clean it really good and spread a nice layer of toyota black rtv on both sides. Bolt it up but dont snug it up, then go eat a sandwich or something. When you get back tighten it down and you should be good to go.

You keep talking about a built block, but what about supporting mods? If I were you Id leave that stuff alone and either go hta 68 (billet 16g) or FP3052 which is a bolt on setup also. Don't be scared of t3 OR t4 frame turbos as they are very versatile and can be tuned using different hot sides...

Id go act 2100 6 puck. Brand new tob, clutch fork, and pivot ball too. Only OEM parts when it comes to timing.

Just take the turbo to any fitting place and get barb fittings and use push loc hose

Will the trans mount that bolts to the frame work from a 1g? Need to know I have to hit the jy in the morning and i've missed placed mine. Also will it have to be from a turbo or awd car?

Is the knock only happening during the wot pull? Set that fuel pressure to 43 and try and take some timing out at whatever point your seeing the knock in your logs. Set what ever boost you want then get the afr's to about 12.0 wot then start adding timing back in until it knocks but don't go crazy.

Are you going to stick another piston in it? I would get the felpro permatorque HG and at that power level id do bramd new ARP L19's TQ'd to 105 lb/ft. Does your knock sensor still have the goo in it?

Not saying you did it, but I have seen that exact same problem when the PP bolts are not TQ'ed correctly.
