    Fight with insurance--We won

Damn straight, they did.I had to do that once back in the day. Offered me $800 because that's what (checks notes) Bill, the Sales Manager at the local Honda Used lot saw in his blue book for "1991 Mitsubishi Galant". I faxed 40 pages of evidence to the Arizona Insurance Commissioner's office...

    E39 GVR4 Buyer's Guide

I've been wanting to do a series of buyer's guides on GBXM for a while. What better car to start things off than the 6th generation GVR4?If these cars are ever going to be worth the premium we'd all like to get for them, we need to educate potential buyers as to what makes for a good...

How rare is a galant vr-4

When I interviewed Hertz a couple years ago, he said the best-educated guesstimate was that there were somewhere around 1500 left in North America. 4-door DSM mentality kills more than anything else, imo.

Good for you getting involved in rally. It's a great sport with great people. Stick with NASA events and you can't go wrong. You'll spend less money, have more fun, and be more appreciated. Lots of really good guys out there in your neck of the woods.

    A/C compressor seals

Your best bet is to get them from the dealership. While you've got the system opened up, now is the ideal time to replace ALL your seals. Might set you back $20 at the dealer. They're not just regular o-rings if I recall. Replace them all so you don't risk a leak a year from now. Evacuating and...

From what I've seen on REAL RALLY CARS (not to besmirch RallyArmor, which is a reputable outfit with a quality product) are often one of the following options:A. Not sure where it came from in our stash of 4G63 bits, but I've had this super clean WRX/Fozzie blower sitting on a shelf, wrapped in socks, for something like a year. It's the cleanest turbo we've got, actually, and we're not going to use it. I've done a little research, and these are retailing...

    Flashable ECU

@Wop - Faster processor speed means the ECU can handle the same amount of data faster or more data at the same speed.A financial analogy: Think of processor speed as the maximum amount of money the ECU can spend at once. Let's say the EPROM ECU can spend $1 at a time. If each bin on the fuel...

Now worries on joining the "wrong" forum. Your generation Galant was also offered in VR4 trim, albeit outside North America. We're all one big happy Mitsubishi family here. Oh wow, brother. What a bummer. At least you got a year out of it. Can't help but feel bad about this. I threw new rod bearings in when I lost the original head gasket at something like 220k.
