I second the synapse fail. I paid a shop to install a new synapse with a new weld in flange and still could not get it to seal. It works just fine but it is a constant boost and vacuum leak.

Well it is a pretty simple bolt in deal but if you do not already have the power connection for it you would need to get the connector and wire it in. The drain line would also be a little different. The outside trim piece is galant specific. You would need a different trim piece if installing...

Correct dsmguy. These work on Galants, 1st gen dsm's and 3KGT's. They are made by 3SX performance which is a performance company that specializes in 3KGT's. These are a bolt in affair. Remove your old bars and bolt these in.

has anyone ever used a 1g dsm wiring harness in a galant vr4. I want to convert my car to an auto and if the under dash plugs are the same i could remoune the ecu and a few other things.

I was actually discussing this with another member (Gaylant-Joe) today. We had previously done it to a roll over tundra truck. Looks like it would not be too difficult, just time consuming. Would also be a good time to replace cracked windshields and all the molding. Remove trim. drill spot...

I'm sure 10-12 hours would do it. I just gave it 20+ to be sure. You could try less cure time. Just can't gaurantee the results for ya.

I just did it with window weld and it seems to have worked great. put it in warm and let it cure over night.

Non power rack from a 1.8 n/a car is what you want. Be sure to get the passenger bracket with it also.
