This is what is going on 525 once the brakes and wheels are done. I would look at the new Dunlop, Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec. This max. preformance tire is supposed to be excellent and it is lower cost.

Thanks! I looked in CAPS and it does show the plastic handle as a separate part number for the trunk release. But now that I know you have gotten them off I will "wiggle" them off!

I have looked at them pretty closely and I think you are right. I am going to look in CAPS and see if they have a picture which shows the replacement cables from the factory with them already on the levers.

I was interested if anyone had removed the plastic handles on the metal levers, which are on the floor, in front of the divers seat. It isn't a major issue, I was just interested if anyone had got them off.

Has anybody been successful at removing these and how did you get them off?

This might help, since it shows the two wires for the heater. The ground is pin 105 and the power comes from the MFI relay. It isn't the easiest schematic to read, but it might help.

I have used that stuff on other projects but I was afraid to use it on this one for the very reason you said, it expands while setting. I am glad to hear it worked. It might be a better solution.

This was a nasty job. It isn't one I would care to do again. The dash has a copper double side tape which holds the foam/vinyl dash to the plastic understructure. The copper foil lets go over time due to heat I believe. This is also complicated by the degradation of the foam. The foam becomes...

Investigate the wiring and the coolant temp. sensor. Was it removed from the radiator before it was cleaned? Maybe the wiring was damaged during the removal. Check the connections and the wires to make sure they are all good. The ECU is telling you that something isn't right, so start there.

Pin 1 goes to Pin 1 on the ECU and Pin 10 goes to Pin 2 on the ECU.

Mike, follow the wire down from the "On" position of the ignition switch. You can see several wires at the fuse block where you can tap your line.

I ordered the four brake line parts from PartsForMitsubishi.com a week ago just to see if I could get them. It was canceled today "NLA" from Mitsubishi. I know JNZ can't get some of the parts as well. So if you are planning on doing this it is a word to the wise, plan accordingly.

Paul, I sent you via email a couple of documents which should help explain how to read the map. Unfortunately the map you have posted is missing some key information. It does not explain what the three maps (different colors) are and the maps are generally presented with the rings labeled.
